An new image of Jesus

"What would Jesus direct?"

This was a panel discussion at Tribeca.

It brings to image the classic caucasian image of Jesus with the beard and long wavy hair... edit that: View goatee and ponytail with dark Ray Bans, torn and faded jeans and a tee that reads "don't fuck with the big guy."

It's a stupid question for a discussion board. The only concept of Jesus that exists is in the set timeframe of a few thousand years ago... you don't and cannot transplate those times and knowledge base with the current. You run into a lot of problems that way.

I understand the sentiment--but the guise it takes pisses me off.
