Sangria on Sunday

So, today, Trac and I were gonna go skating at the roller rink--she in her skates and me in my blades. We went to lunch and then headed to the rink. Upon our arrival, it became evident that there was no skating to be done there today--instead, they had hockey going on. We left with the intention of going to the park to skate. We called for directions, we couldn't find the park. We did, however, after getting on the highway, find our way to Novi and decided to get our cardio via shopping. I did get a great pair of shoes from Bakers. I really had no business buying them, but they were half off and they are fabulous--and I DID need a pair of white shoes. Really, I did.

On the way home, I decided to make myself a nice, healthy dinner of whole wheat spaghetti with turkey sausage... so I stopped off at Farmer Jack. It occurred to me, while we were shopping, that I would need Sangria tonight. It was a good call.

I finally got past my bizarre mood swings of last week when I discovered Thursday evening that melatonin will, in fact, interact badly with birth control. So, I guess my choices are now prescription medication, insomnia, or as the case might be--a few glasses of sangria.

Tomorrow brings Monday, and another week. Here's hoping this coming week is much better than the previous.
