Top Gun
So, I was easily convinced to slide in the DVD of Top Gun tonight... my guests left after the 2nd or 3rd playing of the volleyball scene. This is simply one of the cheesiest of films, but ahh, for the days when Tommie was not a fucking freak and was solely focused on his homoerotic roles. In fact, Val Kilmer was my favorite in this movie, but in the volleyball scene, Slider had the best bod. Right now, there is a dog fight scene and Jakey is fixated as a cat can be to a movie. Quite funny.
Really, the best of the movie is now passed and I have had far too much wine, beer and sun to stay awake.
Love the weekends...

LOL. Sorry we bailed, it really had nothing to do with the volleyball scene. In fact, I was rather enjoying it! (Yes, Slider's bod is so FINE). However, I think the nuances of it all was lost on my kid. :D
Oh, I know it had nothing to do with the volleyball scene, but rather an exhausted 5 year old :)
